WEKA was commissioned by a customer from Great Britain with the dismantling of Tetra Pak filling lines. The systems had to be dismantled, deployed, packed and loaded into 40 ft. high cube containers. The dismantling took place in a dairy near Bamberg, Germany.
A customer from Great Britain, who has purchased 2 Tetra Pak filling lines from a German dairy, has asked us to dismantle the according lines. The customer lasked us to disassemble the systems, take them out of the dairy plant, pack them and load them into high cube containers.
Equipment We Had To Dismantle
In this project, a Tetra Pak A3 Flex 1000 ml Edge and a Tetra Pak TBA8 1000 ml Slim had to be dismantled. While with the TBA 8 only the bottling line had to be dismantled, with the A3 Flex it was the bottling line including the entire downstream. When dismantling such filling systems, which ensure sterile filling, precise knowledge of the machines is essential for professional dismantling and proper packaging. Based on our experience with such systems, the customer could be sure that his machines received professional treatment. The following parts of the system were treated by us:
- Tetra Pak A3 Flex 1000 ml Edge filling machine
- complete conveyor system
- 2x Trecap cap applicators
- Tetra Pak TCBP70 cardboard packer
Machines Used For Dismantling
The following equipment was required to dismantle the Tetra Pak filling lines:
- Forklift (diesel) with a load capacity of up to 8 t + fork extension
- Forklift (electric) with a load of up to 3 t + lifting mast attachment
- Heavy-duty casters
Manpower and Duration
On average, 4 of our dismantling specialists were permanently employed in this project. The project took 6 days from the start of dismantling the systems to the final loading.
